Video Profile: Seniors Come Share Society

Today’s post is a video profile of Seniors Come Share Society.

The video features interviews with Sue McIntosh, Executive Director of Seniors Come Share Society; Arlene Lewchuk-Hartley, Director of Programs; Andrea Cox, Program Coordinator; and Suzanne Taylor, Caregivers Outreach and Education Coordinator.

This is another in our series of videos profiling community-based organizations whose work is making an impact in the community.

The videos highlight and illustrate the important work these agencies do in supporting the public. We are excited to showcase the contributions these organizations continue to make in our communities. We invite everyone to watch the videos and learn more about what these agencies do, and what makes their work so important.

Seniors Come Share Society_LogoSeniors Come Share helps seniors maintain independence. The Society provides day programs for older adults and community support programs for seniors. These programs are offered in Newton and South Surrey for the Lower Mainland’s growing senior population.

bc211 thanks Gunjan Mhapankar for her contribution to this project, and the UBC Centre for Engaged Learning for their support.
