Designed especially for Not-For-Profit-Organizations: As part of the Digital Strategies Workshop Series for Non-Profits, if you have attended other Digital Strategies workshops, OR, if you are active or involved with the web design process, but are frustrated with how to improve user engagement, OR considering revamping your non-profit website, then this 1 day event is for you.

In attending this 1 day hands-on workshop, you will:

  • Review the steps and the decision making process of a potential visitor to your site.
  • Understand what people want as well as how search engines like Google evaluate design & UX.
  • Outline the key features of engaging design, from layout, color, content and element placement.
  • Learn to create engaging content for your audience that supports your organizational goals.
  • Identify the keyword points your audience needs to continue the journey or when to take action.
  • Measure your efforts and achievements with Google Analytics to evaluate performance changes.

This workshop is an invaluable opportunity for you to ACTIVELY develop, execute, and improve your non-profit group’s website design, layout and messaging to better support the delivery of your core services or key message to those who want it most.

Space is limited to 15 participants. You do not need to bring your laptop, however if you like to take notes you can bring it, an iPad or tablet.

Workshop Facilitator:

Keith Kidwell brings over 20 years of Online Marketing expertise from a range of for profit and not-for-profit organizations. He is well-versed in all aspects of search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), user design (UX) and Social Media strategies. Most recently, Keith has consulted with bc211 with their online marketing, Adwords and Social Media strategy.

In his previous role as Vice President of Internet Marketing with one of Vancouver’s leading web marketing firms, Keith provided consultation and strategic planning on all areas of online strategy. He now teaches Internet marketing courses at the college level. He is also a speaker and presenter, and has presented to many groups, including the BC Human Resources Management Association, and Thompson Rivers University Marketing Department. Keith brings extensive experience and an engaging presentation style to help you get the most of your group’s online potential.
