Designed especially for Non-Profit Organizations, this 2-part workshop is ideal:

  • To take advantage of up to $10,000 per month in free Google AdWords advertising to promote your organization at the top of the page on Google search results, and…
  • To help your organization make the most of your existing $10,000 per month Google AdWords budget by developing better campaigns and highlighting specific services, events and activities that will increase the awareness of your brand.

PART 1 – During the first hands-on workshop on November 01, 2019, you will learn:

  • The application process for the Google Non-Profit Ad Grant program. (You will be sent the information on how to apply prior to the workshop).
  • The best practices to set up your campaigns by understanding campaign structure, location and bid settings to maximize your reach, targeting and potential budget.
  • How to develop your campaign ad group structure to create focused keyword themes; how to select keywords, determine keyword match types and bid strategy.
  • How to write compelling ads that meet the quality requirements of Google AdWords and encourage your audience to “click-through”.

You will leave with practical techniques to help your organization set up, manage and deliver a targeted Google AdWords campaign. You will also know what data to monitor to gauge performance levels.

PART 2 – During the second hands-on workshop on November 29, 2019, you will learn:

  • What the key elements are to a better ranking in Google AdWords paid search including Google’s Quality Score matrix.
  • How to review and analyze your campaign performance and metrics from your account data and reports.
  •  The key metrics and reports to better manage and execute your existing campaigns, or develop new campaigns and ad groups.
  • How to increase the click-through rates on your ads and increase the conversion rates on the website pages that you are directing the reader to, in the ads.
  • How to interpret campaign performance and provide concise reporting and strategic direction on your Google Adwords campaign management to your executive team and/or board.

 You will leave with strategies and techniques to help your organization better understand, manage, develop and strategically refine your Google AdWords campaigns. You will know how to define success and report on it at the account level, by monitoring your monthly activities and budget usage.

As this is a hands on workshop, participants should bring a tablet or notebook computer and have access to a Google AdWords account.* Internet access will be made available for participants.

* If your organization has not yet signed up for an AdWords Account in the Google Ad Grant program, information on how to apply will be provided once you have registered for the workshop.

Workshop Facilitator:
Keith Kidwell: Keith brings over 25 years of Online Marketing expertise from various for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. He is well versed in all aspects of Search Engine Optimization and Marketing, and Social Media strategies. Most recently, Keith has consulted with bc211 regarding their online marketing and Google AdWords efforts. He has also delivered several Social Media For Nonprofit workshops in partnership with bc211 over the past number of years.
Keith currently manages Google AdWords campaigns for clients with budgets exceeding $1 million per month. In his previous role as Vice President of Internet Marketing with one of Vancouver’s leading web marketing firms, Keith provided consultation and strategic planning in all areas of online strategy. As a Speaker and Presenter,
he has made presentations to many groups including the BC Human Resources Management Association and Thompson Rivers University Marketing Department.
By combining his knowledge and extensive experience with an engaging presentation style, Keith consistently receives excellent reviews and positive feedback from workshop participants.
